Hi Lenoj,
Are you sure about the model number? Might it be 1506? Craig Model 1506 covered by SAMS MHF-56 dates to 1974. I don't have the data tho.

Its definitely identified as a model 1306. closer examination shows a lack of ic chips if you don't count the one in the power supply or maby the FM tuner. don't know how close this may be to the 1506?

Leno,
I had a Craig multi-band portable of early/mid 70's vintage, and was advertised as having IC's. As I recall it was a 13xx or 15xx. Had a row of push buttons across the top of the case to select bands. As a matter of fact had a small plastic medallion on the front with some mention of Integrated Circuits, and as you noted I seem to remember the only IC was a diode bridge or some unimportant component, otherwise all transistors. The original document package had a small schematic, but set is long since discarded or raped for parts. Smoked the front end while hooked to an outdoor antenna during a Phase III storm on the east coast of Greenland years ago. Repaired the front end at our maintenance shop back in Toole. Don't recall the schematic during my most recent visit through my paper archives, but I'll look again soon.
