Unknown radio

Hello!
I was an antique store today and picked a lowboy radio for $30.00. I wasn't sure about the make and after getting it home could not find any maker name, model number in the cabinet or on the chassis other than 7070 stamped on the rear of the chassis. I pulled the tubes to check and noticed that some of them had labels on them dated 1931 from some drug store in Roslyn, WA. This radio consist of 6 tubes in all 1-ux280,1-45, 2-227's and 2-224. The speaker is a Magnavox 4 wire that's label is partially missing, so no model number on that. There is a square can-like object that has a label that says Potter Condenser with code number 6187-b with a single ground wire going to all 3 IF cans. I have search all over the web looking for a similar radio but nothing yet. I have pictures of the radio and the tube layout. If anyone has a clue I would sure appreciate it, this would make a great winter project!
Thank you!
Kevin

Kevin,
Send me a picture (click on my name for email address, and the tube layout and I will see if I can find anything on it. I have a Sparton (Sparks Withington)with the same tube configuration except mine has a 47 power tube and yours has a 45. It would take a bit of luck to figure out the exact radio with this little information, but it is interesting that the tube configuration is this close. I would never have picked up on this except I just finshed the repairing the radio today.
