This may seem like a small or petty suggestion... but it may help things a bit... what do you all think?

Why doesn't everyone erase the previous text when repling each time?

It gets so difficult to read when all the previous answers are mixed together some on top some on the bottom...

Some ppl put their answer on the top and others on the bottom... sometimes they forget to put anything and it's almost impossible to see where the latest entry is especially when there isn't any.

Wouldn't it be simpler if everyone either erased the previous text... or at least followed som pattern of putting the last entry at the TOP or the BOTTOM.... ?

Just a constructive idea.

Guys,

My situation may be different from yours, but when I reply to a posting I enter my name and tab to the body of the existing posting. I notice that I am taken to the bottom where I add my two cents. With a few exceptions by accident, I double-space from the bottom of the last posting, enter the persons name, double-space again, enter my post, double-space again and enter my name/handle. I do this in hope that my post will be easier to read and not mix in with previous comments/post. And too I may be a little lazy. To put my post at the top, I have grab the mouse and run the slidder up.

Hi

Previous messages could be erased but this makes if difficult to check back. A person would have to click on each posting to see previous replies. I find myself duplicating answers when previous posts aren't obvious. (I do this anyway, not talikng time to read.)

For me it's easiest adding a post to the top.

Peter,
I agree. Good or bad, my posts are always double spaced away from the previous, and placed above all others. Just my nickels worth. I'm sure there will be many others who will not take kindly to dictating a specific protocol, but when good info is lost or interspersed with unrelated material, then lost in translation, their confused state may be altered.

So many times good advice gets lost in the posting. Many who have good input often go unread or misread, at least it seems when you look at the responses or lack there of. Clearing the page helps or spacing away your response helps bring clarity. Another thing to consider on this forum is the audience which covers all age, ethnic, and gender groups Keep it clean, unbiased and stay away from personal attacks. People are usually here to help. Thank those who have helped you or at least let them know of the solution to the problem.

I like the idea of adding the text to the top of the window so the info already there can be scaned.
