Cap question
11/10/2006 3:39:38 PMJon
Starting on a Zenith 10-S-464. Accross resister R18, someone has installed a 250mfd,50v.cap. The schematic parts list does not show anything close to this value and my Riders(11-24)is not clear at all as to the value. Can anyone read the value of this cap?
Many thanks,
Jon.

Jon, Here is your schematic: http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel/689/M0024689.pdf

C20 is 0.1uF.

250uF would be unusually large for a radio.

Doug,
As usual, thanks a million. My Riders c.d.was very blurry on this one. I thought 250 uf was a bit too much
