My wife recently aquired a sparton 931 AM radio at a
Garage sale. seems to be pretty much original with the Sparton tubes and all. However the capacitor on the Amplifier has blown out. according to the Schematic it is a Dual Capacitance one side being 15MFD and the other 5MFD.the schematic doesn't give the operating voltage of this cap. it does show the Ground as being common for both side of the can.. any one know where i can find a replacement or know the voltage of cap, used
any help appreciated Jim Montgomery

James, you can use 2 indivisual replacment caps to replace each section of the old cap just to be sure you disconect the old cap from the circuit , as far as voltages for a AC radio make sure working voltage is at least 450 volts , on a ac-dc ( transformerless) set 150 volt caps will work.
