After a quick internet search, It was too easy. I found this manual at http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/conar_280_signal_generator.html. Looks like they have a lot of free manuals there. I had to jump through hoops to download a plugin from Lizaedtech.com that would allow me to open and print the djvu file I downloaded.

Bill B.,

There is a manual for the Conar 280 at:

http://bama.sbc.edu/

The manual is in djvu format so you will need the djvu browser dropin or the standalone djvu program to view and print it out. You may have better luck downloading from BAMA's mirror site Edebris which has a link on the page.

:Hi, Radiodoc. Looks like we were both posting about the same time. That is a great site. After I downloaded the manual, I replaced the electrolytics and found that my signal generator works great. Now I need to troubleshoot my Emerson DP332 to see why the it doesn't ocillate.
Thanks,
Bill B.

Hey Bill B.,

I have used the site quite a few times. I believe it is better to try the site in late evening - sometimes hard to download from it during the day. I have had better luck using the Edebris mirror site when I needed to download during the day. It is a good site to keep in favorites, along with this site and the Schematic Bank site.
