Hi, have searched through the site looking for this model number to no avail. Any information would be greatly appreciated - It is an RCA Victor portable am tube radio - Model XF3J. Any information on year, schematics, etc. would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Dan,
If you are starting to dab in old radios, or a skilled repairman, here's a good site to search model numbers.

In general SAMS covers radios from about 1946. This site features Rider's, plus. Your radio is 1960, schematic in SAMS Set 479 Folder 14. You see their price. Lots others sell them. Your library should be able to get you a copy. People in the hobby provide them free most time. I'ld like to get $20.00 or more for a copy but don't get any takers so I just scan folks a copy if I have. This one I do. If you want provide an email. It will be tomorrow cause my helpmeet has blocked my SAMS cabinet with boxes. It's a ploy of her's to get me to watch TV with her. But how many times can you hear the same old news.
