Grunow 1152 osc. coil needed
10/21/2006 1:57:32 AMMike Winney
Gentleman, the combo C (1500 - 4200kc) & D (550 - 1500) bands oscillator coil in my Grunow 1152, Ch.11A is corroded and open. While I could replace it with a broadcast-band osc coil and forgo the unused C-band, I would prefer to restore it to specs.
This coil uses one primary and two secondary windings for the two bands. Any chance one of you would have a spare 11A or 11A-Type2 chassis for sale/trade or know someone who could rewind the coil? Many thanks.

Hi Mike

Here is a list of available coils from PTOP. Ask Gary if you don't see what you want.

You might be able to fix the original coil?

Thanks Norm. If an 11A Grunow chassis doesn't appear miraculously in the near future, I may attempt to wind a new coil.
