Bell & Howell Design Console Schematic/Manual

I am still looking for a schematic for a vintage Bell Howell electronic breadboard (Design Console). The unit I have was made by De Vry Institute of Technology for the Bell & Howell Schools. This model is in a turquoise metal case with a black plastic pegboard in the center. It has fixed voltages of 6.3 and 12.6, +180 vdc, variable regulated voltages, sine and square wave generators, and speaker outputs. Any help will be appreciated.

Eric, I can't be of help. But this sounds like a combination power supply and function generator.

Hi Eric,
Bell & Howell stuff was usually made by Heathkit. Here are model numbers for some Heathkit design consoles:
ET-1000/3100/3200/3300/3600.
Maybe this will be of some help.
BR,
Dave

I have the original book that includes the schematic. I built it in 1974. In fact I was just using it yesterday to charge a battery for my kid's RC car, and I overheated the transformer and blew the fuse. So I was looking on the net for a transformer when I saw your note.

Jim,
Would you be willing to scan the book (or at least the schematic) and send the file to me? If so please send to my email address of oscarsonee@email.com. Thanks, Eric Oscarson
