I was wondering if anyone can point me to the best tube tester for testing 6146Bs (JAN6146B).I'd like to make matched pairs. The tube is a 7CK base power pentode and i'd like to meausure transconductance etc

The 6146B was made as an output for transmitters. If you plan to use this way checking the tubes in a transmitter would be the only way to go. If the tubes will be used for audio most Hickok Tube Testers should work well for matching..
