In July, poeple were wondering if Joe from WJOE Radio was still in business. I have ordered from him in the past and have had great experiences. I needed parts again and emailed him and he promptly replied that he was still selling supplies. I then told him people were having trouble communicating with him. He told me he thinks it must be an email problem, as he replies to everyone.

After that post here a few weeks back I contacted him too because I felt since I too had no problems w/previous business that he ought to know this.
Well I must have emailed him 4 times maybe weeks apart...
with... no response!

Peter,
I noticed that when I emailed him, his reply came in through my "junk email" folder. For some reason my email program was trying to filter out his response as "junk". After I figured this out, I had no problems contacting him.

Well.. I do not have a junk mail folder.. and nothing ever came back that I know of.

there's definately something going on with joe,ordered 4's and 16's and got 4's and 50's. it took 2 mos. to get a response and the right parts after about 20 emails,i'll be looking for a new supplier.

I just wrote another Email to Joe last night explaining the questions folks have and told him to look here on this forum...and got my first reply from him the first thing this morning.
here's what he said:

"HI
Thanks for the info. It's hard to answer an email I didn't get.
Anyway I will look into it and perhaps add an alternate Email address."

A customer wrote to me VIA Email to tell me what was going on here. Your not wrong because your the third person to tell me this. I don't know why I don't get emails from some people. The problem with that is I have no idea it's happening until it's too late. I am very sorry about that. I am looking into it right now. I will offer an alternative email soon. Meanwhile i will examine the filters on my present email service. Perhaps there is one on place that shouldn't be.
As far as mistakes go. YES I have made a few. BUT i always correct them, then some. In your case I took your word for it and sent the correct ones out never asking for a return.

i'm glad to hear from you and happier still that you're checking the problem out. i don't want to find another supplier but when we have to wait so long for parts or responses we all get a little nervous. i would rather get a project off the bench than wait for parts. thanks for you attention and i hope you find the problem,phil

Just about every e-mail program has a filter, whether the "junk" goes to a separate folder or not. Some programs just delete items thought to be junk. Thanks to Yahoo and other places selling my address, I now receive up to 1,000 junk e-mails a day. This can be very tiresome and time wasting to go through. Thankfully most truly junk items have a fake date for some reason, reading 2035 as the year.

Anyway, everyone needs to check out their e-mail program.
