That should be ~ 1941 model and it probably is such a good performer by virtue of it using a full blown tuned RF stage, instead of one of the cut corner R/C coupled designs. Its worth......all that you can get for it !!!

Slusser's guide lists a value of $40-50 for this set in good condition, but knowing that fact and $2.25 will buy you a cup of coffee. You can list it on eBay and let the market tell you what it's worth. Or you can just keep it and enjoy it.
Most old radios aren't a very good investment, dollar-wise.

I cleaned this thing up about 10 years ago, looked sweet and sounded sweet, I'm about 30 miles due east of Cleveland, and can get the 3 major Cleveland AM stations quite nicely. It then sat in my very dry basement and collected dust for 10 years, I ran across it the other day and cleaned it again, and it still works great, but had no idea if I was sitting on a fair amount of $$$, thought about ebay, but wanted to know what it might fetch before bothering. Thanks for the info.. any other words of wisdom for me?? Mike
