hi everyone,just replaced power trans and recapped this baby,have no voltage on pin 3 of 6a7 and the 78,all other voltages in range,any thoughts at there ?i have low volume reception when probing pin2 of 78,thanks,phil

Check pin 4 of the 6a7, if it has voltage then I would suspect R11, 40K is high in value or open.

hi gary,already replaced it,still no b+ to the 40k.this thing arrived in a pile,real messy,replaced most parts and apparently hooked something up wrong. from a suggestion by norm leal,disconnected 40k and fed b+ from pin3 of 41 tube to the 40k,radio now plays well below 80. between 80 and about 130 weak reception and loud squaak, above 130 to 170,silent. thanks for your help,us newbys need it!,phil
