This unit has a built in "loop wire" antenna. I have 1.6 ohms from #1 to #2 and opens on 1-3, 1-4, etc.

There are very light gauge wires along side of the heavier wires. I am using Rider page 11-36 but I can't pick out the detail.

Hi Terry,
I have looked at the schematic and you should have connections on the loop, A to M, and F to B, with the later showing continuity to ground.
I don't recognize the #1, #2, #3, or #4 points you described.

Best Regards,

Bill Grimm

I think I see what you mean. My #1 is the green (bottom of the page on Rider 11-36, #2 is the white, #3 is the brown, #4 is the yellow, so following what you say, then my #1 is green and B, #2 is white and F, #3 is brown and M and #4 is yellow and A.

There are no wires connected to M and A. Can I wind some and connect to the terminals? Sorry for this question,as it may seem silly. I do appeciate all of your help.

Hi Terry,
I am a litttle confused. I thought you had figured that brown connected to M and yellow connected to A.
That is a very interesting set you have there. I have not seen a 35 volt filament winding on a transformer before! when you get this baby working, it will throw off some heat.

All the Best,

Bill G.
