Resistor value help
8/14/2006 4:31:29 PMDean
Hi all,
I am restoring a nice Zenith 15U269 shutter-dial radio and am having trouble reading the values of a multi-section resistor. The Rider page is Zenith 8-43 and the resistor in question is R-19. It looks like one value is 71 ohms, one is 87 ohms, one is mabe 700 something and the other looks like 1100 something. Any one who has a better copy of the schematic page than I who can read these values would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks for any help!

Hi Dean

I looked at different CD's and still can't make it out clearly. On the left it is 11M which would be 11K in modern marking. Then 700, 71 & 87 ohms.

Here is a schematic of a similar Zenith. Those values are used on this radio.

Hi Norm,
Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate it. This should be a really nice radio when it is done now!

The values are: 11,000 ohms, 7100 ohms, 71 ohms, and 97 ohms. As seen on the schematic from left to right. I also have one of these radios. I hope this helps - - if you hadn't already found out.
