The cabinet is solid mahogany and messures
26"H x 26"D x 18"W(30"W with the wings extended
The nobs are on the front and station locator
is on the top.
The AM works but has a hum.
The phono works but needs new rubber mounts.
Shortwave doesn't work.
I'd like to find schematics, a tube source for 50Y7GT
tube and repair sources. And year of manufacture.
The serial number is 0211062301
It makes a great end table but I'd like to get
it working right.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Nick
Your radio was made in 1953. With a lot of the Philco's the first 2 numbers of the model number is the year manufactured.
Sam's Index lists your radio as being in #203-7. Most libraries can order the Sam's Photofact which has the schematic.
Antique Electronic Supply has the 50Y7GT tubes and lists them for $3.50.
Hum in your radio is generally caused by bad filter caps. These caps dry out over time, loosing capacity, and allowing hum.
try Antique Electronics Supply for 50Y7 tube.
