The field coil measures about 450 ohms which is correct according to the schematic. The primary of the output transformer measures 460 ohms and the secondary about 1 ohm. Do these readings semm ok?
If the speaker is bad, where can I find a replacement or get this one repaired?
Thanks.

:I have a Meteor (Sears) 7213 that has absolutely no sound. I think the speaker might be bad. The filiment and DC voltages are correct, the radio has been recapped and an audio signal can be seen with a scope on the plate of the 25L6G.

There was a bad solder joint on one of the voice coil wires. To get at the solder joints I had to cut out the speaker cone. I'm going to glue the cone back in position with maybe a little reinforcement where it connects to the voice coil. After this it should be good to go.
Thanks again!
:Hi Mike:
: I just fixed a radio for a guy with exactly the same problem. In this case it was a bad solder connection where the voice coil wires attach to the terminals. The connection looked fine and I thought it was the speaker to. Give it try, you have nothing to loose.
