Could anyone help me identify my grandfather’s old floor model airline radio? It needs some parts and I would love to fix it, I have looked for a long time for any information on it with no luck. The sticker reads Wards Airline Radio combination. Artical no. 62-2748 and WG&C series is 17A96-967-1, stamped into the wood cabinet is WG-9671. Any help would be appreciated.

Roger,
Your Airline radio was manufactured by the Wells-Gardner Co. Airline was the house brand for Montgomery-Wards.I could not come up with anything under the Airline model number, but compare the tube line up with the schematic for Wells-Gardner model A-17 on this site.Hope this helps.
Jon.
