I think the Micromatic Sonic high fidelity units were put out by Magnavox in 1962. What is the value of a stereo like this one? Everything still works!

Magnavox Micromatic turntables have a GREAT value. The Micromatic turntables are great because they are jam proof. The tone arm indexes each record size perfectly by "Tapping" the record before dropping
down off the spindle. Also, the Micromatic Turntables have a little feather on the tone arm, so it cleans the record while playing! how good is that! I have had many BSR and Voice of Music changers, and none of them had as many features as the Micromatic does. Also, I have noticed that the spindle on the Micromatics is somewhat longer than some of the other ones, so you can stack more records on. I remember back in the 60s that Magnavox was the top of the line, and the fact that most of the stereos they sold had speakers both on the front, and on the side of the cabinet, made the sound even more impeccable.
And when the Micromatics sold back in the 60s, the Diamond Stylus was guarenteed to last ten years. And not only that, they were built and made to last. My wife and I have owned the same Magnavox Console for 46 years, and until this day has never given us a problem. The turntable is still right on speed and is as accurate as can be. So, You simply cannot go wrong with a Magnavox Micromatic.

Greg, the model of your changer would help or take out the cartridge and stylus and there should be enough numbers, e. g., N2-SD, to get you going. The reason I suggest getting the record changer number is if you aren't original owner someone may have replaced it before. You want the correct stylus for your record changer. Here's some info I haven't verified but it seems on track. It may help you too.

That's a lot, copy and paste. It works.
