troubador plastic miniture radio

Can someone help, Today at a flea market in south london uk I found the above mentioned radio, it is 2 band rotary sw at rear, mains lead is partly resistive will be used on 120 fdpdown transformer in side case I found the following info w m co and number 317893 could this have come from ware manufacturing all components are from chicago and the valves [tubes] are made by rca any info please can give more info if required. thanks peterr

Troubador is a trade name used by Warwick Mfg Company. You might get the tube numbers and look at Warwick schematics on this site.

Thank you for this information. I obviously confused WM Co. for Ware Manufacturing. I have at home ' The guide to old radios' by David and Betty Johnson, being in the UK it is obviously more difficult to obtain info on American sets although it is suprising how often American sets turn up, often with an extended resistance cord so that they can be used on 240 volts.
