According to the radio pricing guides, this radio should sell for about $90.00 to $110.00 in "average" condition .... sounds like yours is in good shape and would certainly bring this much .... will be worth more if the electronics are restored to original condition ... not very hard to do, but you will need some experience to do it....

In reguards to if the radio is worth fixing up, that depends upon how much you like it; and want to keep it around to use, or sell it for a profit. Judging from the model number, your radio came out in 1947, give or take a year (kind of like car models). Sounds like your radio is in great condition and may not need much "fixing up." If you want to restore it yourself, there are several books out there to walk you through the restoration; as well as radio restoration hobbists to give advice. "Antique Radio Restoration Guide" by David Johnson, and the more technical "How To Repair Old-Time Radios" by Clayton L. Hallmark have helped me. Good Luck and be careful--restoring old radios is contagious!
