P31 was the standard phospher used in nearly every Tektronix
oscilloscope of the 1970s - 1990s unless a special option was
ordered (usually for a hot-to-the-scope-camera P11 I think
it was, expecially in 7904s). So anytime you see a standard
7000-series, 5000-series or 400-series portable, you'll be
seeing a P31. Oh, but the color will be off a little bit on
most Tek scopes because a blue filter is installed as standard
equipment to help with contrast.
Of course, in this day of DSOs, the high-speed CRT is nearly
gone, replaced by full-color, computer-controlled CRT or LCD
displays.
