I am restoring a wooden Addison A5 and am about ready to lacquer. I have purchased Addison water slide decals. When do I put the decal on? after the lacquering is finished or just before the last coat so that the decal is protected?

Assuming that the decal is lacquer compatible, which I think those are (Rock-Sea), it should be above any colored lacquer and below clear lacquer. Several coats is great, though one is alright. Be careful when buffing between coats that you don't buff through the lacquer and then through the decal.
