Hello, I just picked up a Zenith 5-S-237 radio dirt cheap. The chassis is very restorable, the usual cap job. The cabinet is very rough, but complete. It appears to have been painted and them stripped. What I am trying to figure out if it was veneered or had the original dark maple finish. I have check the web and found a few pictures, but no good close ups. Does anyone know what the origanal finsh was suposed to look like? Any pictures would be wonderful.

I did find out one thing, it was made in a white and ebony models. I would much have the walnut/mahgony color.
