Who can rewind an oscillator coil??????
2/13/2006 3:59:41 PMMILTON
Hello gentlemen, It looks like I need to rewind an oscillator coil and nobody can do this job around here. ¿Do somebody knows if there's some place that can do a guaranteed and professional job?
Thanks.

I am in Brazil, grieves, because could make this coil for you. Is it for a radio of how many strips? Could send for you, a complete coil, ok?

Hi:
By "strips'... are you refering to what we call "Bands"?

By the way if you can wind oscillator coils, does that mean that you can alsao re-wind an open IF coil winding?

It you can re-wind IF transformers... that would make a lot of guys up here in the other hemisphere quite happy. It seems that no one here can locate a source for replacement IF transformers anymore. So your service would be very handy and valuable, I believe.

In fact... I've got two IF transformers right here that need repair. And I'd gladly ship them off to you if you really can do it.
Both have open windings. They are both from a Howard 901A radio. The first IF has both windings open and the second has one open widing.

Hello Friend

If you want to do an experience, I give to you my email and you enter in I contact with me. Just tends 1 good enrolamento, I can make the other ones 3 for you. In case you want, it will be a pleasure to assist him. You only need to happen, the valves that the radio uses, for determination of the factor Q. THE rest is easy, in spite of me to prefer to do and to set up the radio here, but due to distance and the value of the transport, can send only the FI´s.
Write down my email there:

Hi Indalecio, thank you very much.
well, I am in Costa Rica so the distance is less than being in U.S, and plus to that shipping here is not as expensive as in U.S. so, ship the original coil to Brazil is not a problem for me.
Send me your email address and I send you a picture of the coil for your apreciation.
¿Entiendes algo de español?

Milton V.

Hello Milton.
Yes, Spanish I understand, but in Brazil we spoke Portuguese.
my email is:
officinadoradio@gmail.com
do send the burned or interrupted coil and I re-do for you, ok? The best would be to send the chassis of the radio and I would return it ready and gauged, but the cost would be higher.
Hug.

Hola Milton.
Abrazo.
Indalécio
