Where can I get a manual for a Midland Model #23-170 Capacitor Checker?
Many Thanks, Jim

Hi, Jim,

I've ransacked all my e-mail files trying to find an e-mail address
for you. It must be at home rather than here at school. I'll repost
later with that address ... if I remember to, that is.

Otherwise, you'll find the following sites that deal primarily with
used test & measurement equipment manuals:

www.agtannenbaum.com
www.manualsplus.com
www.w7fg.com/manuals.txt
www.ac6v.com/pageaae.html

There's some old manuals on-line at http://bama.sbc.edu/
If you ever get a manual for your instrument, it would be
nice if you scanned it and sent it to that Boatanchor site.

Ed Matsuda, POB 390613, San Diego CA 92149 619-479-0225 (voice)
619-479-1670 (fax) is a good mail-order source.

For more links to sources, try either,

www.repairfaq.org/repair/f_manuals.html
http://gama.inesc.pt/public/info/repair/f_manuals.html

The Sams Photofact index lists Midland, but nothing like
your model -- not surprising.

The address that I'm going to try to post later is for the
Radio Shack service literature department. That's where I'll
have to go for the manual on my DX-160 shortwave receiver.

Later.

Dean
