I have found a replacement transformer for the Crosley 25.
It is electrically fine. However I belerve I will have to mount it vertically. The wires come out of the coil on opposite sides. I will not be able to reroute them so they exit from one side.
I think it will look OK mounted vertically. I wondered about the possible effects of the hum field getting into the tubes with all being above the chassis.
Anyone had experience with this?

I don't think it should be a problem.
