Hi, I have a model 90 and it seems there are 3 versions of tubes they came with? Is there a difference in playing. Mine has one output tube 47. There are also the ones with 2 45's and one with' two 47's,.........do the other two play better?

The chassis with two push-pull output tubes should have more power to drive a big speaker. Otherwise, I'd not expect a difference in performance.

Not that we should really be getting into this at this point, but push-pull tends to have a more even sound to it. Certain harmonics and distortion are cancelled out. You can replicate this to some degree with your single ended output by adding negative feedback, which is quite simple. I will regret my mentioning this, though, because for now it seems like we need to work on getting your MANY radios working in the first place. Don't put too many irons in the fire at the same time. You'll cool the fire.
