The Korting set was made in Western Germany and there is a Sam's Photofact for it. It looks like a 60s set.
Thanks again,
Dave...
: Hello All,
: This is a very frustration situation. The FM dial cord Popped-off and I cannot figure out how it goes on. A Pulley also popped-off at the same time. I'm not sure I put it back in the right place. I wonder why they make these things so elaborite?
: Each time I get the dial cord on one pulley, it pops-off another (I think we've all been there before). But with a diagram I should have no problem, I hope. Please help. I have old RCA schematics to trade.

I also have one of these 1047's - I have searched for a dial stringup diagram EVERYWHERE on the Web, here and abroad - I even try to get any seller on EBay who has one up for auction to tell me what the stringup is, to no avail - no one wants to open one up! I've even purchased schematics from two different sources, but the FM dial stringup is not there!
Has anyone found out this information on this forum?
Please send any info to me at my address - thanks!
Dave

I know how daunting it can be, but sometimes you need to invest in a spool of braided fishing line, and start from the first loop.
I know it is easy to say it- Just try it- But usually with a little patience and logic, you can figure out how you need to string it in order to work. (the spring on the end allows for imperfect distance judgement when you cut the string. I sepak from experience that restringing is not as bad as it sounds, and in actual fact, there are times when the original plan does not work as well as what you can end up with.
:I doubt if you could find a dialstring diagram on a Körting schematic, since none of my 44 Körting schematics has.On the other hand I could open my Körting Novum 3940(late 50's)and have a look,if somebody is interested.
