Rare transistor

Hello friends.

Here in Brazil, I find difficulties of finding the following transistors:
2N741 and 2N1671. Does anybody know direct substitute for them?
Could anybody sell two of each?

How can I substitute Germanium for Silício? There is a difference in the work tension in the polarization of the several types. Does anybody have and can he/she sell for me the Transistors that I need?

Hi Indalecio

I can find a replacement for 2N741. This is a germanium NPN in a TO18 package. A silicon transistor might work but it has different biasing. Germanium has around .2 volts turn on while silicon .7 volts.

Not sure about the unijunction?

I will be in Rio on Feb 2, 3, 4 and 5 on a Globus tour. If you live around there I could leave parts at Sheraton Ave Niemeyer 121.

Unhappily I am in the State of São Paulo, they are almost 1500 Km of distance of Rio de Janeiro. I inform the friend: I don't know if it is its first time in Rio de Janeiro, but care with kidnappings lightnings. They are Very frequent. Get ready to see beautiful girls and to tan a heat of 40th C.

The NTE crossreference states an NTE 6400A will substitute if that helps.
