I just found this forum and I'm wondering if one of you could help me to find a tube.
The radio is a 1930's Lafayette, on the burned tube I can read "Deforest Audion -424-A-".
Does it say enough ? Is there a place on the Internet where I could find this kind of old tube ?
Thanks for helping me and... sorry for my english !
Steve
The same tube by RCA will be 224A, Cunningham 324A. You can use a tube marked 24A. Electrically the same tube although shape will be different.
Not sure where you are located? If you still have a problem finding a tube send me an email.
