I am trying to find a rep[lacement for a 5-25h choke, EICO part number S34003. The one in the transmitter now has a loud buzzing sound. I think it is going out.

Hi Ron
Loud buzzing is not a problem. A choke like this has a lot of ripple across the winding. Try tightening screws holding laminations together. Noise you hear are laminations vibrating. If tightening screws doesn't stop the noise coat the choke with varnish.

Norm,
That worked. I added six screws through the choke and tightened them down. I only have a low humming sound which is very acceptible.
Thanks again.
