Brian.....
I do have a schematic for your Sears 6022, however it is a scanned image that is not all that great....better than nothing though. If you would post your email here OR, if you prefer email your address to me by clicking on my name above this post, I will send you a file.

Sears reused model numbers. There is a 6022 here but not the one you wanted.

If Dennis's schematic doesn't match can you find a chassis number? It might have 3 numbers followed by a decimal and some more numbers.

::I have a silvertone radio that belonged to my grandparents. It works, except for an annoying hum (60Hz)that is always in the background, and does not change with volume adjustment. From reading info online I'm guessing a likely cause of the hum is failing capacitors (partcularly the power supply filter cap, so I am going to give recapping a try. My problem is this...
::Even though I don't have to have the schematic I would like to have it. I've looked up the schematic that is available on this website and it is clearly for a different radio. This Silvertone model "6022, Walnut" is probably from the 50's or 60's. Did Silvertone reuse model #'s? If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Norm,
I was able to find a Sears 6022, Chassis # 101.509 in Riders. Problem was though it is spread all over vol. 10. I've copied the 3 pertinent pages 10-6,10-49 & 10-58 (under SEARS)into separate .PDF files for Brian. If he sends or posts his email address I'll send them to him so he can compare things to the actual circuitry and parts layout.

Believe that's the schematic Brian found? It's a 1938 radio. Seems he is looking for a schematic for 1950's - 1960's Sears radio with the same model number. Sears did reuse model but not chassis numbers.

Hi Norm & Brian.....
Ok you guys.......erase everything I have said so far from your memory banks. Norm is absolutely correct. I compared the info from the Model 6022 from my riders library with the one stored on Nostalgiaair and they are the same. So Brian, looks like you are going to have to rely on the chassis number to try and track down that schematic.------Thanks for straightening me out on this Norm.

:Brian,
:I'll email you a copy of SAMS Set 797 Folder 5 for you Sears set later on tonight. The chassis number is 132.92201. A 9-tube AM/FM/FM Stereo. Do you have external speakers too?

Gee..........whatever happened to Brian ? :o(
http://www.smcelectronics.com/sams.htm
It says the Sams number is 132.91401. They want 5 bucks and there is probably a shipping charge. Maybe someone on this forum has that Sams folder?

:Wait a minute. Thats not a Sams number. I assumed it was, based on the smcelectronics listing. Sams lists a Sears 6022 in folder 797-5. Thats probably it. Sorry for the confusion.
