Who is the manufacturer??
I found a Model 130 (but not 130A) listed in one of my guides. It's described as a lowboy console, c. 1930, value $110-130.
When you say you have a "complete chassis," does that mean there is no cabinet? The above value would apply to a complete radio, including both chassis and cabinet.
There have been several manufacturers that used the "Majestic" moniker, including Grundig, but yours seems to be a Grigsby-Grunow.
I have restored a Majestic 130-A. Your radio, a 1930 majestic model 130-A is a Tuned Radio Frequency (TRF) receiver. It was designed in 1929 by the design team at Standard Radio in Toronto but built at the Grigsby Grunow plant in Chicago. The same radio chassis is used in the models 130, 130-A, 132 and 230. There were two cabinet styles of the console (floor model) radio; one from Canada and one from a furniture manufacturer ion Chicago. The model 130 cabinet was built in Canada and the 130-A cabinet was built in Chicago. The 130-A cabinet is an African ribbon mahogany cabinet with fiddleback mahogany curved front panels. The model 130 is rather plain and unremarkable. The radio can be set for 60 cycle power operation or 25 cycle operation and is fused. This was unusual in the 1930’s as most of the radios produced until 1940 were not fused.
