Does anyone have a schematic for NordMende (Caruso Special C) radio and the year the radio are made? Does anyone know if have a subtitute for EMM803 and EAF801 Tube?? Thank you

Hi Hugo, I've searched through my schematics but can't find anything on Nordmende. I guess you know it's a German radio. You might be able to buy a schematic form A.G.tannenbaum at http://www.agtannenbaum.com/ , Manualman at www.manualman.com or Wumpus Radio (German site) at http://www.oldradios.de/ . Wumpus has a good German to English dictionary of radio terms that you can download (free) and print. It will help identify the german labels and schematic terms. I'll email you some data on tuning indicators. The EMM803 is a dual indicator used for FM tuning. I don't have data on the EMM803 but there's some on the EMM801 that should be similar. It might have a different shape display and some tube pins may also need rewiring. There are some other types included. Both the EMM801 and EMM803 are 9 pin miniatures. AES lists an EMM801 "to call" so they might be worth a try. They also list the EAF801 at $8-70, that's a diode / remote cutoff pentode, used as an IF amplifier and detector. AES are at www.tubes and more.com. You can also do a search of the net with the two tube numbers, you might find another source. If you can tell me the tubes used I might find a German set of another make that might help you find your way around. There's a good chance your set uses a selenium rectifier, also has a fuze. I don't have the specific schematic for your Nordmende. But i have a schematic of a siemens with the tube lineup "ECC85, ECH81, EAF801, 2 X AA113, EMM803, 2 X ECL86, B250C135" as many others using EMM803 and EAF801. And i know, that in the late sixties, Siemens branded radios with her name, that were manufactured by others (as Nordmende). So if you can give me the tube line up of your Nordmende (and or a picture), we will maybe be able to find the suitable schematic.
