I may have some of these... just moved, so they could be anywhere. If you don't find some, email me (w9gl@yahoo.com). Let me know what size you need. I do recall having a box with several (but less than 10). I'm on dial up, so don't check the FORUM too often.
I have seen them on ebay. That may be quicker than swapping emails with me, my digging around for them... but if all else fails, let me know.

Butch, why do you especially need wire-wound pots? Just for authenticity?

hi doug i have a couple of 30's sets which had bad vol. pots i replaced them with carbon pots and while they work they don't work right .these are the type that hook to the ant. coil and as i remember have b + on one side its been a while since i looked at them so my mind isn't clear on it.anyway someone told me that carbon pots don't work good with this type of circut and that was my problem now that i think about it maybe something else is wrong i just thought i'd set them aside until i had some ww pots and see.one of these was a crosley mod. 172 the other was a majestic but i forget the mod. of that and am too lazy to walk out to the shed through the snow right now.i have worked on these tube sets for a few years and usually can fix them but i am not a expert by any means so mostly when i get stuck i rely on advice from these forums, every time i think i am getting good i run into a new problem that baffles me, well if i keep at it long enough i may get good someday if i live long enough although there are many times i think i should stick to plumbing which is what i do for a living but its not as much fun. butch
