Hi all I am working on a , I think is a philco 91, The reason I say I think is the schematic info and diagrams match and tube line up is the same , the only difference is the info says this is a AM/SW model this particular chassis does not have SW just AM, did Philco produce just a AM only version of the 91? or do I have the wrong schematic?, there is a good IF signal up to the 1st IF after that nothing so I know is in the front end either the osc or the RF section, coils have been checked and are OK resistors are all within tolerance the only thing I have found so far is the cathode voltage on the RF tube says should be 25 v but I am only getting between 2-3 volts have checked the tubes and even replaced with a known good tube with no differece, my next step is to check the cap blocks , but I am wondering if I have the right schematic info or ???
Thanks
Elton

Hi Elton,
The book "Philco Radio, 1928-1942" shows 3 versions of the 91. The two early versions were AM only. Radio should be recapped.

The link I thought was for a 91 is for the 90. Dead end of finding the 91 schematic.

Elton,
I have a copy of the schematic. If you want to post your email address, I'll forward you a PDF.
