Hello everybody,
I am an italian tube radios collector fond of american Thirties tube sets.I own a Stewart Warner model 1262-A chassis that is in nice condiction but found with the friction wheel outside from the little tuning guide small wheel. These wheels must to be one inside the other to drag the tuning condenser.I don't how it can be went out from the rail.Any ideas to tell me about how can I re-put the drive friction wheel into the small guide? Strange answer don't you? Perhaps I must to un-screw the wheel from the tuning condenser and trying to assembling into the small guide? Thanks in adavance for help.

Umberto, this is a very nice set: http://www.radiophile.com/swr1262a.htm

Probably somebody that's worked on this model knows exactly the answer to your qustion, but I'm having a hard time visualizing it. It seems that there is a tuning vernier that isn't driving what it's suppose to?

Can you possibly post a photo or a sketch showing the specific internals that are giving you the problem? (You can't post a photo directly on this website, so maybe use a free photo hosting service, like: http://www.imageshack.us/ )
