Sirs:

Does anyone have a manual/schematic for a Lafayette Explor-Air?

This was a three -tube regen. SW set.

Hello Lou:
I do have an assembly manual (two actually - the original Lafayette manual was incomplete (that is a story in itself!). Unfortunately, it is in the black hole of my basement which I am attempting to clean up and everything is toppsy-turrvy. It may take me a day or so but I'll rummage around and attempt to find it for you.

Hello again Lou:
I have located the schematic for the unit... could you provide an email address so I may forward please?
Thanks

Please E-mail the schematic to : louis226@juno.com
FYI: I found this set in Antique Radio Classified
It currently works. I had one when I was 12 years old. I am now 47. Quite a span of time, and a very nostalgic radio for me.

Lou,

There is an assembly manual with schematic for a Lafayette Explor-Air (KT135) 3-tube regen radio at http://bama.sbc.edu/lafayett.htm. The filename is explor.djvu. Perhaps this is your radio.

:::Hi Dave,

:::I, too, am in need of an Explor-air schmatic so I can figure why it's going into regeneration so quickly. Appears to be well built, but still a kit...

Many thanks,
Eric

Hello Eric:
Sorry for the late response but I've been having computer problems for the past few days and have just got this thing running half-way decently.

I can scan the schematic and forward it to you via separate emails if you still require it.
Regards,
Dave
