:I'm working on a Belmont 6D111. I've got the radio recapped and it sounds great all across the band. The problem? I can't get the pilot light to light up. There seems to be no voltage differential across the leads which come from pins 2 & 3 of the 35Z5. Obviously I've checked the bulb and the integrity of the wires. Any ideas? Thanks.
Your 35Z5 has a burned out filament tap on pin 3, causing the full radio load to go thru the pilot lamp and blowing it. See Service Tip No. 40 in the Service Tips section of my site:
