9/21/2005 1:30:01 PMJEAN-MARC TURGEON
Hello everybody;
My first post and you are my last hope!
I do have a Philco (Canada)model 55 ,chassis 112, with a broken dial cord;I`ve been trying to re-route this cord,but unable to figure out the way it goes;
This is the cord for tuning condenser(not the one for bands,which is fine)
Does anybody would now how to re-install this cord,i mean the pattern around the differents wheels ?
Many THANKS for your help, and excuse my english,it`s my second language !
Regards,
Jean-Marc

I would try Philcoradio.com, I had the same problem and Ron was able to help me out with a crude drawing of how was suppose to string the tuning condenser.

Jean-Marc,
Go to this website page - it contains many dial stringing patterns in Adobe .pdf format. Hope you can find yours in there somewhere.

I should have mentioned that at the Radiotiques site you have to look up your model number (.pdf index) then request the stringing diagram be sent to you. I don't know how much they charge for this service.
