Now that I've solved the problems associated with this radio, I am interested in repainting the cabinet. Could anyone tell me what the original colors were for this radio? Mine is a white (?) that looks more like a beige.

Some of the more common colors for this radio are swirly brown bakelite (advertised as mahogany), cream/ivory (beige or antique white), and black. Other colors are possible, but I have never seen this radio in any others.

Antique white lacquer or enamel will do the trick.
