American Bosch Radios

I see there is occasional mention of American Bosch radios on this site. I just wanted to extend my thanks to you guys who keep this name alive.
I work the company that once was American Bosch. Of course, we have nothing to do with radios anymore, but its nice to see our old products and name still in circulation.
Best of luck to you all.

Hello I have what i beleive is a model 58. I am uncertain if and how this unit works. I would like to determine the value and possible sell. Can anyone offer some guidance?

Jeff: I have a nice model 510 that I am restoring. It's a beauty.

The American Bosch name will be in circulation for a long time, Jeff. Although well known among us radio guys, it is a name that is even more familiar in the aviation industry. The American Bosch magnetos that were installed on single and multi-engine aircraft probably number in the millions, especially since two of them are required on each engine. Lord only knows how many I have overhauled or worked on since 1955.
