What should the values of the grid leak resistor and cap be for a Radiola X?
What value should the bypass cap after the detector plate coil be?

Thx,
Dan

Hi Dan

If you don't know the exact values use 2.2 meg for grid leak and .001 mf for cap after the detector plate.

Older radio used grid leaks to 5 meg or more. Most of these are open or have gone even higher. A resistor of 2 meg was the most popular.

After the detector there are different filter networks. Some with two caps and a choke between them. Use .001 mf for this/these caps. If you use too large a value high frequency audio response will be reduced.
