MIRACO-large cabinet model---circa pre-1930

I purchased a large cabinet model old radio yesterday at an antique flea market. And I can't find any old photos, or at least not old enough model photos of it on the internet. which is really surprising, to me. it has no model no. or any year that i have found yet, anywhere.the name is Miraco, which i have found to have turned into Mid-west. It has a beautiful old gold emblem that says miraco, cincinnati. One tuning knob, and five large tubes, llike lightbulbs. The radio itself pulls out when you open the top shelf, then it has a empty compartment below with a drawer. To me this looks like one of the very first...circa, maybe 1910-15-20. ..........Can anyone help me with information?????

Dear C.McMaster,
Miraco is Midwest Radio Corp. There are many schematics on this site for that brand. Those who might help you will need more information on the radio in order to try to help you figure out which model. Start with tube line up. Most tubes have markings and the combination of tube numbers could help date the radio. Sometimes the numbers are on the base of the tube or etched into the glass. Do not wash the tubes or the light markings can be erased. Even rubbing off dust can remove them. Try fogging the glass with your breath if you have difficulty seeing them and they may show up.

You might want to take a look at this website:
www.midwestradiomuseum.com
Hopefully, you may find something there to help you identify your radio.
