I'm mystified how all three would be shot. After the first one shot craps, I'd assume that the radio would be relegated to the attic, and no longer be used.

Agree with Doug. If coils are there shouldn't be all bad. Even if bad they can usually be repaired. Missing is different.

I got this radio from a fiend he has a large AK collection this was one on the back shelf he thought
I might be able to get it going. I belive some one
did some removel what I am getting at are all the
coils the same and can I wind some new primary
windings or just find some good one's I think I know
the answer to this but it might be fun to fix the old
one's if I had the right Info any why thant you all

Jeffrey, I'm still confused. Are the three RF xfmrs totally missing? You speak of wanting to rewind the primaries, but the primary and secondary windings are on the same coil form. I can't imagine somebody in the past "removing" just the primaries.

Try to describe just exactly what the situation is.

But to answer one of your questions: even though I don't have a Model 30, I'd guess that all three xfmrs are probably the same. You might want to fish around on www.atwaterkent.info for a parts list, etc. Also, there is an AK forum at www.atwaterkent.com
