In need of a BK42B ballast, unable to locate one anywhere, any advice would be helpful

Hi Rich

BK42B drops 42 volts at 300 ma. It could be replaced by a 140 - 150 ohm @ 25 watt resistor.

This ballast was mainly use in Sears 101.546 chassis. Might chek with AES, www.tubesandmore.com . They sell ballast tubes and should have a replacement for BK42B.

wwww.oldradioparts.com he has one, its a "universal" but matches the specs and fits the socket.
