6 pin solid state vibrator circuit
7/6/2005 6:37:42 PMBill Hutchinson
I'm looking for a circuit that would replace a 6 pin negative ground vibrator. I'd like to power this radio, a Zenith 6V27, with only a 6V power supply, as if it was being powered off a battery.

Is there a simple way to do this (ie: a "plug & play" arrangement), or will I need to gut the entire power supply section and redesign it?

Thanks in advance.

Try http://www.antiqueautomobileradio.com as they sell syncronus Vibrators, also known as 6-pin

Hi Bill

You can build a standard 4 pin vibrator circuit and add two diodes to replace the second set of contacts. If your email address is included I'll send you a circuit from a magazine.
