I inherited this scanner from my wife's grandmother....have no idea how to run it....does it find channels itself or do i have to program them in manually? what frequency ranges will it pick up?....
I'm really new to this any help would be appreciated. Happy New Year to all!

thanks

Hello Kurt,

As I recall the original '100' series was beige
in color and had a keypad. Later units were charcoal.

Please describe the unit to me. Does it have four
channel switches that slide or some type of keypad.
Does the front slope at about a 45 degree angle or
are the controls on the top or front?
