5/11/2005 5:04:09 PMMike
Hello Everyone,
I recently aquired an 4586-A Silvertone radio w/ chasis 100.156. Everything is there w/ exception of the speaker. Anyone know where I can find one or how to build one?
THnaks in Advance,

Mike,
I have a similar problem with my Silvertone Model 1923, but if you'll scroll on down this page and look for the heading 'Need Speaker for Silvertone Model #1923' then you should find the answer you're looking for.

Didn't we just go through this? I thoroughly explained how to replace an old electrodynamic speaker with a modern permanent magnet speaker. Sometimes you need to read and use your head instead of having others do the work for you.

Thank you for your endearing words. However, If you look at the time this message was posted, you'd see that this message was posted 2 hrs "PRIOR" to my 2nd post where you "thoroughly" explained how to replace an old electrodynamic speaker.
As far as "having others do my work for me" -Don't be a jackass! I found the schematic myself and others "helped" me with the parts I needed to get.
I just didn't understand how to wire everything up.
But now with your "help" I do. Thanks again.
Mike
